		<description>The fee is causing misunderstanding and bad service situations. It is such a small fee that you have to wonder if it is actually worthwhile to the store to even charge this fee - why not do away with it and concentrate on marketing their personalized custom fitting which is offered &quot;free of charge&quot;. If the shop feels justified in keeping the fee, then they need to decide how to approach future customers. If one person missed the multiple signs then another one will certainly miss them and they will have yet another uncomfortable situation on their hands. The salesperson should always bring up that there is a $5 fee assessed for a fitting regardless of the signs (they could even go one step further by then waiving the fee if the customer purchases a custom fit item). 
As a store owner I would have to ask myself if making such a big deal about such a small fee isn&#039;t actually costing me 100x in the end. The customer left without spending any money on lingerie for her special occasion AND she will tell every one she knows about the bad experience. All over a $5 misunderstanding?
Not only do I think that this shop owner should try and mend this fence with this customer but turn it into an opportunity and tell her to invite 5 friends for a free fitting. It will more likely turn into a happy ending for everyone.</description>
