Ernest is a multidisciplinary writer, editor, and translator with a background in the social sciences. He incorporates his varied experience and expertise into the production of customized text, thoughtful edits, and vivid yet accurate translations from Spanish and Portuguese into English. Ernest served as assistant editor of Time Out São Paulo, a culture and entertainment magazine, and has written material for such print and online publications as American Airlines’ Black Atlas, Ebony, Jetsetter, Matador Network, the Orlando SentinelTime Out London, Travel by Handstand, TripAdvisor, and World Travel Guide. He continues to serve as CEO of Fly Media Group, which provides new media content for the tourism and travel industry.

Ernest holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in creative writing from the American University, Washington, D.C.
